Philippe Faraut Sculpting a Stone Portrait

Faraut, based in New York State, has spent the past decade traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada teaching both aspiring and professional artist his unique methods for transforming studies in portraiture into individual works of art. Faraut’s new book, Portrait Sculpting: Anatomy and Expressions in Clay. A detailed series of exercises designed to help sculptor’s create portraits. The books will be available at a discount for seminar participants.

   Sculpting Demonstration

Philippe Faraut will hold a Sculpture Demonstration open to the public from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Friday, October 13th at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts

Last year  Mr. Faraut sculpted a bust of a man and then "aged" him several years.

Philippe Faraut's Sculpture Workshop  will be held October 13-15, 2006 at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts

Cost of class (includes all supplies, tools and clay):  $450.00   for members
$500.00 for non-members

Deposit: $100.00 to secure your place.
Class size limited to 15 participants.
Balance Due: September 1, 2006

Cancellation Policy: 
After August 4th, money will be refunded minus $100.00

Mr. Faraut is already scheduled to come back next year this same weekend for another workshop.  His workshop fills up quickly, so get your reservations early.
