We
often think of collaboration as a meeting of minds, the
joining of ideas, the swifter stream of confluence where
two or more rivers of creative energy flow into one.
But the literal origin of the term comes from work: to
work together, to "work with." That, as much as
tapping into a quickened flow of combined artistic juices,
is what Kevin Box and Warren Cullar do very well.
The two artists, both acclaimed sculptors also talented in
other mediums, are fueled by an extraordinary level of
creativity and motivation that would, if this were a
competitive field, leave others in the dust.
