Spooky Art ShowAre you spooked because you still don't know what fun things there are to do with your family on the Saturday before Halloween? Fear no more, the Longview Museum of Fine Arts has an array of ALL DAY Halloween enjoyment! The 5th Annual Spooky Art Show will be held October 30, 2010.

Tour the Haunted Museum! Dare to feast your eyes on our ghostly galleries, featuring the artwork of students of all ages. Seventeen East Texas schools are participating, as well as a few special guest artists. An amazingly eerie display of art will delight all ages from noon to 4 pm.

CALLING ALL PET LOVERS - ghoulish pets and decked out owners will strut their stuff at the LMFA Downtown Pet Parade! You won't want to miss this judged event at 12:30.

And don't miss the hair-raising Haunted Asylum "Freak Show"! From 1:30 to 4:30, you and yours face a room of Evil Clowns, the Mad Butcher of Tyler Street, Undead Zombie Children, Dr. Drill performing experiments and more terror best not named. A spine tingling adventure lies in store for those who dare enter the Haunted Asylum!

Are you ready for your close-up? A frightful photographer will be on hand to take pictures of pets, people & monsters for a delightful memory of the day.

As the sun begins to set and ghostly spirits start to rise, we celebrate the new "night lights" of downtown under the LMFA awnings with the Monster Mash Street Dance at 7 pm. Experience Tim Wommack and his high energy rock band "Galaxy" outside the museum's doors. Bring your friends, children, lawn chairs and coolers with beverages of your choice. We promise you won't get in trouble if you behave.

This one day show opens at the stroke of noon with frightfully fun events planned all in the afternoon and into the evening. Don't miss:
