Special Evening Presentation
January 13th

Photo artist Janis Miglavs will be displaying images from his Undiscovered Myths Project at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts in Longview, TX. Miglavs has been working on this project since 1999 and has captured images from 13 tribes on the African Continent and has created photo illustrations of the myths & dreams of these tribes. Anthropologists say he is the only person to have ever recorded the myths and dreams of these tribes.

You are cordially invited to internet travel with Janis on his return trip to Ethiopia's remote Omo tribes.  He and his youngest son will be posting through a solar-powered satellite internet connection on a very regular basis to the special E-journal site listed below.  This is an interactive site.  You can post questions face to face with the warriors, shamans and storytellers of Africa's most remote tribes in the Omo, the birthplace of modern man.
