Let's Make Faces!

This is an intense
course in learning how to paint portraits in acrylic
paint, beginning with an understanding of the proportions
of the human face and ending with a completed
self-portrait. Individual instruction and an encouraging
approach makes this class appropriate for beginners as

some basic home studio work, play with lighting and
reflections, and with materials from around the home
office. This will be a practical class rather than a
theoretical one, we'll work hard not to get too
complicated and stay away from all the math. If you ever
asked "how'd you take that picture" this is the
class for answers. Bring your camera capable of manual
mode and an extra lens or two! A tripod and flash are
handy, but not necessary.
