Cecil Touchon, Permanent Collection artist and Fort Worth icon, will be juror for the 49^th Annual Student Invitational, March 14th, featuring the works of local high school students from over 17 school districts.  Prizes will be awarded to the best of show with a $100 prize and ribbons in nine categories. Cecil’s work may be viewed on his Website and on his Online Museum. Artists are now being invited to send two works to be displayed in our main gallery in an exhibit titled “Under the Influence”, with one from each artist staying with LMFA when the exhibit ends!  

Robert Jessup Exhibit - Visit Robert Jessup's Website to view the works of our most talented fellow Texan.  His fairytale-like themes evoke childhood memories of stories read and tales told on huge colorful canvases.  The name of the exhibit will be “Robert Jessup ~ Themes and Stories: A Selection of Paintings and Drawings from the Last Decade”

East Texas Regional Artists will be on display - Anup Bhandari, Daniel Hays, Derrick White and others will be in the Premier Galleries, while our friend Hank O’Neal revisits and brings his photographs of East Texas and gives our opening gallery talk.

A NIGHT OF GREAT ART - William Young from Palestine gives a gallery talk on his art and that of his father’s, Ancel Nunn.  William will also lecture on Homer Winslow, whose etchings will be on display, on loan from Scott Peck, co-director of the Biblical Arts Museum in Dallas.
