Michelle Gamboa is driven, motivated and determined to impact change in the East Texas community. She is a child advocate with CASA, a Jobs Coach for the Christian Women’s Job Corps, and Founder and President of the East Texas Young Republicans. In addition to these, and many other roles with local
organizations, Michelle also serves at her church. Michelle has worked with several elected officials and non-profits as regional director, executive director and other positions. She is also the Operation’s Director for Roof Care Inc., her family’s roofing company. Gaining experience through her business and non-profit activities Michelle knows the importance of a thriving economy. Michelle and her family support organizations both financially and with their time. Being an immigrant from Mexico, she sees how a community with opportunities can help both individuals and youth work towards achieving goals. Michelle’s passion for art fuels her belief that the arts provide growth and learning to everyone. She strongly believes that art unites many cultures, backgrounds, and walks of life, transcending language by communicating to all in a unique way. Michelle looks forward to being part of the Longview Museum of Fine Arts Board of Trustees. She is committed to being a resource for the growth of Longview and the surrounding areas.
