@Longviewtx150 is a collaborative effort between acclaimed photographer O. Rufus Lovett and longtime East Texas writer Gary B. Borders. This 136-page coffee-table style book consists of profiles and portraits of 150 people from all walks of life in Longview. The project is intended to celebrate Longview’s 150th birthday in 2020.
The book’s release, and an accompanying exhibit at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts (April 16 – July 3), were delayed by the pandemic until this year.
The total costs of @longviewtx150 were underwritten by VeraBank.
