This exhibition gives students an opportunity to display their artwork within the gallery and compete for top honors and prize money. Three hundred and forty-four works from fourteen schools from the surrounding areas have entered pieces in a variety of categories including computer graphics, photography, mixed media, painting, drawing, block printing, sculpture and ceramics. Winners from each category received a ribbon and a cash award.

Brett Dyer, Artist and Professor of Art at Northlake College was this year’s judge for the Invitational. Dyer, originally from East Texas, currently lives and works in Dallas where he exhibits nationally and has won multiple awards for his teaching and for his art.
