The 66th Student Invitational celebrates creativity, innovation, and the evolving voices of emerging artists. For over six decades, this exhibition has provided East Texas students a platform for to share bold ideas, refined techniques, and deeply personal perspectives through visual art in our galleries.

This year’s invitational showcases a dynamic range of media—including drawing, painting, mixed media, pottery, sculptural, videography, digital art, printmaking and experimental forms—highlighting both technical excellence and conceptual depth. Each selected work represents not only artistic achievement, but also the courage to explore, question, and communicate through creative expression.

The 66th edition honors the tradition of artistic excellence while embracing the diverse experiences and contemporary concerns that shape today’s young artists. Together, these works reflect a powerful moment in time—capturing imagination, identity, and the spirit of the next generation.
