Tony Tiger is an accomplished painter, printmaker,
and mixed media artist born in Los Angeles,
California. A citizen of the Muscogee, Sac & Fox,
and Seminole Nations, his award-winning work has
been featured in major national exhibitions, including
Changing Hands: Art Without Reservation 3 in New
York City.
Tiger’s art explores the human experience through
symbolism, spirituality, and metaphor. He studied
at Seminole State College, earned a B.F.A. from
Oklahoma State University, and an M.F.A. from the
University of Oklahoma. In addition to his studio
practice, he has served as a curator, educator,
mentor, and former director of the art department
at Bacone College.
