Conversation Through Collage presents the vibrant and layered work of artist Brenda Bogart, exploring the ways images, materials, color, and texture can come together to create visual conversations. Through her collage practice, Bogart brings together unexpected elements and fragments, inviting viewers to look closely and discover new connections within each composition.
Her work embraces the playful, expressive, and often surprising nature of collage, transforming individual pieces into something entirely new. Each composition offers an opportunity for interpretation, encouraging viewers to consider how seemingly unrelated elements can communicate, respond to one another, and tell a story.
Conversation Through Collage invites audiences to slow down, look closer, and engage with the many conversations taking place within Bogart’s dynamic and thoughtfully constructed works.

Artist Bio
Brenda Bogart is known for her compelling and conversation-starting collage work largely focused on iconic figures from Albert Einstein to Jimi Hendrix, as well as figurative collages of animals and wildlife.
Dallas’s Center for Brain Health, Google’s International Headquarters, UT Southwester’s Clements Hospital, Dallas Country Club have commissioned her art for their corporate collections. Her passion for giving back to organizations such as Feeding America, North Texas Food Bank, Jubilee Community Center, plus countless others, have received national attention. A passion for entrepreneurship, giving back in magnanimous ways, and encouraging others to discover and use well their God given talents, are the driving forces behind her day-to-day work.
In 2021, Brenda’s daughter Stephanie Stephenson Walker joined her in the studio as a full time collaborator in the making of art. A visit to their airy studio readily reveals their inspiration. It is filled with a fascinating collection of centuries-old handwritten letters. colorful handmade papers from around the world, plus various eclectic objects they have collected during their travels.
Brenda holds a degree in Interior Design from TCU and has studied painting and drawing at SMU extensively under Mary Vernon and Barnaby Fitzgerald. Brenda is a 7th generation native Texan and lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband Bill and their dog Daisy. She has two adult children and one granddaughter. After a career in interior design working for Wilson & Associates, then operating her own design studio in the Dallas area, she turned to art full time in 2006.
Stephanie holds a degree in illustration from Parson’s School of Design with a focus on drawing and painting. She resides in Dallas with her husband Mike and daughter Annie.
Their art is currently represented by over twelve galleries and shops throughout the United States.
