Moira Redcorn, daughter of Charles H. Red Corn and
ceramic artist Jereldine “Jeri” Red Corn. A member of
the Osage Nation, a descendant of the Caddo Nation,
lifelong participant in the Osage traditional dances,
I’lon’shka, and a founding member of Wak’o Owatsi
(women’s dance). A graduate of Dartmouth College
with a degree in visual studies.
After graduation from medical school, she worked
throughout Oklahoma and currently works as a
physician at the Oklahoma City Indian Clinic. She
is project manager of Blanket Relations Initiative, a
community art project with sponsorship through the
Osage Nation Foundation and the Mellon Foundation.
Her artwork includes painting, ribbonwork, beadwork,
sewing, leatherwork, woodworking, and metalsmithing.
She currently lives on the Osage Reservation in
Oklahoma with her husband Bill Nunez, and cat Hazel.
