Joe grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating high school, Joe decided to enter the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a Marine Corps Second Lieutenant. In the Marines, he served as an intelligence officer with assignments at the tactical, theater and national level. Along the way, he earned an advanced degree at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California. He retired from the Marine Corps as a Lieutenant Colonel, serving for over twenty years.
Joe began a second career at Lockheed Martin where he rose to Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, responsible for both US and international government programs. He happily retired to Hawaii with his beautiful wife Sandra and just recently moved to Texas in order to care for aging parents. Joe and Sandra are new to Longview and love the community. He enjoys staying fit, as his wife is the owner of a health and fitness company and pushes him to get off the sofa. In their spare time Joe and Sandra like to travel, staying as close to the ocean as possible.
