A dedicated community volunteer, Mary Lou gives her time to actively help facilitate the Healing Arts program at Newgate Mission. Over the years, she has also contributed her talents by serving on various boards, including Preservation Longview and the Democratic Women of East Texas. Mary Lou treasures time with her daughter, Melea Stockton Smith, and her son-in-law, Eric Smith who live in Oklahoma City.
