With 38 years in education across three ISDs—DeSoto, Mineola, and Tatum—Debbie spent the last 12 years as principal of Tatum High School. As a co-founder of the Tatum Education Foundation, she worked alongside two others dedicated to supporting all children. Since retiring, her focus has shifted to Godlink, a nonprofit aiding child in three Zambian villages. Between frequent trips to Africa, her heart remains with Jucys Hamburgers, the Longview-based family business her late husband founded over 45 years ago.
