Mary Geisler

A Nebraska native, Mary earned an Art degree from Buena Vista University in Iowa before launching a successful career in Dallas specializing in retail support services such as pre-press graphics, fashion photography, wayfinding, and custom fixtures. Seeking a more creative path, Mary relocated to Winnsboro, TX twelve years ago to focus on silversmithing and artisan jewelry, transforming a long-held hobby into a passionate pursuit. There, she became deeply involved with the local arts community, volunteering in gift shop management, fundraising, and art exhibits at the Arts Center. She served as exhibit organizer and curator from 2018 to 2020, and co-organized the annual Art in the Gallery Student Art Competition for four additional years. Her work also included modernizing various operational systems and serving on the Board of Directors.

Mary now resides in Longview, where she continues to support the arts through her volunteer work at LMFA and her ongoing dedication as a silversmith and jewelry designer in her home studio. She looks forward to contributing her experience and passion as a member of the Board of Directors.
